Apollo Foam provides innovative, custom engineered polyethylene foam solutions globally
Apollo Foam converts cross-linked polyethylene foam into it’s customer requirements.
Cross-Linked Polyethylene foam, (also known as PE Foam), is manufactured in sheets and rolls in a wide range of densities and colours. Some are extruded and laminated to achieve the manufacturers desired thickness, some are fully extruded using plate compressing technology, others are produced using a free expansion technology.

Chemical block foams are available in two very different formats the first is an extruded and laminated manufacture and the other is a plate pressing technology.
Typical Industries for chemical block foam would be Packaging, Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Healthcare, Construction, Sports & Leisure, and Marine
These materials are produced in densities from 25kg up to 140kg and are available in a wide range of colours to suit your application. The key advantages of extruded and laminated foams are a uniform closed cell structure, stable and resistant to wear and tear, good temperature resistance, thermal insulation, light weight, and shock absorption.
The key markets this material is sold into would be for the building and construction due to it’s thermal insulation it’s ideal for frost blankets, with it’s unique laminated manufacture it’s great for the eaves filler market.
With it’s tight cell structure and black appearance both point of sales packaging and transit packaging have now come to the forefront. With the material being able to take the day to day wear and tear and being lightweight it’s ideal for the sports and leisure market.
The key advantages of plate compressed foams are the colour range, all of the primary colours and many others are stock items, resistance to harsh chemicals and fluids, and the most import being the ease of processing the material.
The key markets this material is sold into would be the Orthotic industry due to the heavy density range, the shadow board market with it’s diverse range of colours to suit corporate needs, the packaging industry with it’s very tight cell structure and ease of use, and the sports and leisure industry with it’s fantastic floatation and buoyancy values.
Our polyethylene foams are converted to our customers’ individual requirements from split sheets, pressed foam fitments, waterjet and routed polyethylene foam components for all market sectors.
