Apollo Foam converts non-cross linked polyethylene foam into it’s customers individual requirements.
Non-cross linked Polyethylene foam, (also known as PE foam), is manufactured is sheets and rolls in a wide range of densities and colours. Non-Cross Linked polyethylene foam can be manufactured in two distinct ways; the first being extruded and laminated, and the second being fully extruded.

Non-Cross Linked Polyethylene foam is a gentle alternative to more traditional types of packaging like corrugated paper etc.
Non-Cross Linked low density polyethylene foam is extruded, in this process the manufacturing cells are filled with air and combining with neighbouring cells form a Non-Cross Linked Polyethylene foam. Non-Cross Linked polyethylene foam is generally available in black, white, and pink anti static, the densities range from 18kg per cubic metre to 144kg per cubic metre.
Non-cross linked polyethene foam is manufactured in three very different formats, the first being a fully extruded plank with no laminations at either 600mm x 2750mm or 1200mm x 2750mm at 50mm or 100mm other thicknesses can be manufactured but would be quantity dependant.
Secondly there is extruded and laminated plank which is manufactured with laminations to achieve the desired thickness, this material is manufactured in a sheet size of 1200mm x 2000mm at 50mm or 100mm other thicknesses can be manufactured but would be quantity dependant.
Lastly rolls can also be extruded in 1mm up to 20mm thick at 1200mm wide in various lengths which are dependant upon the thickness of the material.
Fully Extruded Plank 100% Fully Recyclable
Non-cross linked (PE) plank foam is easy to fabricate, and is both resilient and non-abrasive. This PE plank foam provides excellent shock and vibration protection during product transport.
Non-cross linked foam is also water resistant and has good flotation properties for recreational and sporting applications. It has good thermal insulation properties and has the added benefit of being recyclable.
Extruded & Laminated Plank 100% Fully Recyclable
The laminated construction offers tried and tested cushioning performance and customised dimensions to increase fabrication efficiency. Non XL offers outstanding protection, easy fabrication and is CFC free. Fully recyclable, it can be die-cut, heat sealed, welded, glued to other materials, sliced, sawn, split, skived, routed and drilled to meet exact specifications. Available in a wide range of thicknesses and high, medium and low density up to 100mm. Multi density layers also available from stock in 30mm, 40mm and 50mm in white. Other thicknesses and colours available on request.
Non-Cross Linked polyethylene foam is non abrasive, chemically inert, flexible, and lightweight. which intern means it’s ideal for delicate surfaces and surface protection for polished wood, alloy wheels, powder coating, electronics, and ceramics.
